How to parse JSON object in PHP

We have this JSON object:

    "John": {
        "status":"Wait"
    },
    "Jennifer": {

    },

}

We need to iterate to each key and value.

To iterate over a multidimensional array, you can use RecursiveArrayIterator

    RecursiveIteratorIterator::SELF_FIRST);

foreach ($jsonIterator as $key => $val) {
